This movie starring Donald O'Connor much like the Television show Mr.Ed is about a talking mule. Francis a war Veteran talks like most people however, Francis is not played by Donald O'Connor, Francis character is played by a mule. O'Connor meets Francis after becoming lost from his platoon, in Burma. They become great friends and Francis knows some interesting info, after some talk Peter(O'connor) finds out about a Japanese outpost, not far from the camp. When Peter and Francis are successful in there comedic capture of said post, questions immediately arrive about the source of his information. Needless to say Peter sees the inside of the psycho ward many times throughout this movie. However like always with Francis-O'Conner movies, the story ends happily Francis and Peter are friends.
