The Man from U.N.C.L.E

The Man from Uncle is based on the 1960s TV show. Chronicling the adventures of agents Illya Kuryakin (Armie Hammer) and Napoleon Solo (Henry Cavill).

This film is set during the cold war, the wall is up and times are dark. Solo helps a woman named Gaby (Alicia Vikander) escape East Germany to freedom on the other side despite Kuryakin's best efforts. But there's a reason Solo helped her escape. He needs her, to get to her uncle who is associated with the head of a criminal network.

Solo and Kuryakin once on opposite sides have to work together with Gaby to stop her uncle and his friends from completing a nuclear bomb.

Full of 60's European style and places this movie is a masterpiece of storytelling and cinematography.
In one of the movies most dramatic scenes we see one of the main characters dying, surprising paired with a piece of music that wouldn't normally accompany such a scene. Somehow its fits perfectly and  helps tell the story.
That is a great example of how this movie is different from others and stands out, on its own two feet.
