Dial "M" for Murder

In this Hitchcock thriller, Grace Kelly plays Ray Milland's wife, her boyfriend is played by Robert (or Bob) Cummings. This movie is for the most part takes place all in one room. [Margo and Tony's living room (Kelly and Milland)] The story, murder, the victim Margo, the murderer is played by Anthony Dawson, (his character name being Swann.) The one who hired the murderer, Tony! (Milland) When things go wrong in the execution of the murder itself,  Margo is facing murder charges. Mark (Cummings) trys desperately to save her. Then there is the inspector who originally arrested her, he is suspicious of something. Will you guess how this mystery ends?
















Trivia:

Alfred Hitchcock arranged to have Grace Kelly dressed in bright colors at the start of the film and made them progressively darker as time goes on

During the attack scene according to the script, Grace Kelly was to get out of bed, put her robe on, and answer the phone when it rang. Grace Kelly contended that no woman, being at home, would put a robe on to answer the phone. Alfred Hitchcock agreed, and so the scene was shot with her in her nightgown

When Inspector Hubbard is looking out the bedroom window at Margot and the policemen walking toward the apartment, their legs suddenly disappear from view, revealing where the projected scene of the street meets the edge of the physical set.
