Trivia:

Jeanne Crain's singing voice was dubbed by  Louanne Hogan

Dana Andrews was a trained opera singer but he was dubbed in the movie because the studio did not know he could sing, he explained later that he didn't come forward because he felt that the singer who dubbed his  singing probably needed the money and he didn't want to put anyone out of work.

Lux Radio Theater broadcast (a 60 minute radio adaption of the movie) on Jan 24, 1946 with Jeanne Crain and Dick Haymes reprising their film roles.
