Minions

When a popular movie gets an even more popular sequel it's expected to have a promising future. Well Despicable Me didn't disappoint. Since 2010 it has had a sequel, a prequel and several short cartoons. Stores have been flooded with some major merch for everyone's favorite Minions.

This newest installment follows Kevin, Stuart and Bob who leave the safety of their home camp to find a new villain for the minions to work for. They feel they have lost their purpose by not having anyone to serve. After a bit of searching they come across Villain-Con. Which is pretty much what it sounds like. They roam around for a while, and end up in the Scarlet Overkill auditorium. Where Scarlet Overkill herself is offering a chance for anyone to be her new henchmen all the have to do is successfully take a ruby from her. All of the most muscular and ruff candidates fail. Even the minions give it a try. Unfortunately she is a very effective super villain and they fail. Then suddenly after the disappointment of no one being able to take it from her she realizes she is holding a teddy bear instead of a ruby. Bob's teddy bear in fact, and that is how the minions became minions to the biggest super villain of the time!

Its chaos from here on, a little bit of rude humor and crazy accidents make the plot go from weak to wacky. This movie of course isn't for adults, though the first time you might find it funny, I did. If you're thinking about getting this for you kids, sure go ahead but be cautious and you will probably be watching it a million times. So, you've been warned.

The whole beginning credits is a evolutionary timeline. There is some Minion "nudity" which is mostly bare minion bottoms. Their is a scene where some guards are shown in only their boxers and dance to a song. Their is a man with a mustache who is dressed like Scarlet Overkill at Villain-Con. (Dress, hair and all.) No real language. Several instances of rude humor a little more than the last one.

All in all sure buy it watch it enjoy it. Or maybe just rent it so it's not a usual thing.
