I recently got this highly acclaimed film starring one of my favorite and distinguished English actors, Ian McKellen.
It is a slow movie and a little sad. Ian McKellen plays a very elderly Sherlock Holmes who has retired from the detective business and 221B Baker Street to a much slower country life. Most of the usual Sherlock Holmes characters have passed. Giving way to two new characters Mrs.Munro and her young son Roger.
Mr.Holmes spends his days tending to his bees and trying to prolong his dwindling memory. It is a very touching tale of Mr.Holmes and his friendship with Roger and over time they work together to help Mr.Holmes remember his very last case. Once which he can't remember the end of.
